Sithara Limited, a printing ink manufacturer, won the merit award in the extra-large category, national level, manufacturing sector at the annual CNCI Achiever Awards 2022 recently.
It was organised by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI).
President Ranil Wickremesinghe was the chief guest. CNCI Achiever Awards was established to boost the industrial sector in the country by recognising and rewarding industrialists who excel in their businesses.
Director, Sithara Limited, Chayanka Wickremesinghe said, “It’s a great privilege for us to be awarded by the CNCI for the good work that our team is doing day-in and day-out. At a time when we are both approaching six decades of a leading presence in the industry and also navigating through global challenges, it’s a testament of our team’s resilience to not only be steady but also continue finding growth opportunities in a highly competitive industry.

In addition, Sithara is one of the few companies in the world who are certified by TUV Austria to manufacture compostable inks for packaging.
